Excellent beaches can be found in nearby Portstewart and Castlerock and facilities for horse-riding with tuition - abound nearby.

For the golfing enthusiast, six courses (including two magnificent championship courses) are found within a ten mile radius. Good quality coarse and game fishing are also found on the river Bann. Drumaheglis Marina and caravan park is two miles away while Coleriane Leisure Centre boasts an excellent swimming pool.

Tennis courts can be found in both Coleraine and Portrush.
